Volver
A restaurant in Ushuaia since 1988
The oldest house in the city, built in 1896 facing the harbour. King crab from the channel, Patagonian toothfish and dry-aged beef.
We don't serve farmed salmon.
Whatever comes from the sea in this house comes from the Beagle Channel. It costs more, and some days there is none. We would rather there be none.

The house
A listed historic building from 1896
The walls
They are papered with newspapers from the 1940s. Around them sit record players, typewriters, fishing nets and rugby shirts left behind by people over the years. A cast-iron cooking stove keeps the room warm.
The windows
They look out over the harbour and the Beagle Channel. Only a few tables have that view, so ask for one when you book.
